Rapel.
Luego de un interesante trayecto en tractor o a caballo, nuestros expertos guías le recibirán en la entrada del Refugio de Vida Silvestre Cataratas, donde le guiarán en una rica caminata de historia natural de 850 mts hasta la plataforma de inicio.Así, después de todas las charlas de seguridad pertinentes y una entretenida demostración de los guías, podrá usted empezar una experiencia única en la vida, tal cual es el descenso de 80 metros al costado de una imponente catarata.

Canopy tour.
Todos nuestros guías altamente capacitados tanto en seguridad, atención al público y naturaleza le acompañaran en todo momento asegurando así que el tiempo tan preciado de sus vacaciones sea del máximo aprovechamiento.La excursión tiene 2 formas diferentes de inicio; ya sea en carreta, cómodamente sentados tirada por un tractor la cual tarda aproximadamente 20 minutos o en una cabalgata que tiene una duración aproximada de 45 minutos, luego de la llegada iniciaremos una caminata de 30 a 45 minutos a través del Bosque en la cual se impartirán charlas sobre el ecosistema llevadas a cabo por alguno de nuestros guías especializados. Una vez finalizada la misma se inicia el recorrido por los cables, llevando equipo de alta calidad el cual es renovado constantemente para asegurar su perfecto estado.

Puentes Colgantes
Puentes Colgantes also Known as the Hanging Bridges may be one of the most beautiful environmental projects in Costa Rica. It is a series of paths and bridges located in the vicinity of the Arenal Volcano. It is located directly in the path of birds migrating between north and south America making this area a bird watchers paradise. Covering an area of 250 hectares of primary rainforest it offers views of the Arenal Volcano as well as Lake Arenal. This 3.1 kilometer walk with 8 fixed bridges and 6 hanging bridges was build t with the latest technology for safety and comfort as well as respect for the environment. The trail has a maximum grade of 7 degrees to suit all ages and abilities.

Caminata por el volcan al atardecer
Our hike takes you to the active side of the volcano where our naturalist guide will take through rain forest trails for a nice and gentle hike where you can see a great diversity of flora and fauna and animals such as, monkeys, toucans, iguanas, plenty of birds and sometimes snakes. Once we arrive at the observation point we will be able to hear and feel the deep rumbling that precedes occasional eruptions of steam, smoke and molten lava. At night if it is not to cloudy the show is even more incredible as views red lava and huge rocks glowing against the black sky. While watching the volcano and taking pictures, our guide will share some information and history about the area and the volcano’s activity. Then we will continue our way down to the exotic and relaxing Hot Springs nearby, to sit back and relax in the volcanic water and sooth every aching muscle.

Expedicion al cerro chato.
We begin the journey transferring us from La Fortuna around the Arenal Volcano to get to the hotel "Observatory Lodge," there we start the hike toward the summit of Chato Hill through a very dense primary forest. When we arrived up we go to visit the lagoon on the top, where you can swim besides taking photos and discover the surroundings. Then, we continue descending, always enclosed of a very dense forest, where you could appreciate birds, plants, animals, insects and immense trees, as well enjoy the sensation of liberty have in a beautiful views of the San Carlos Valley as well as of the Arenal Volcano. The end of the walk will be in La Fortuna Waterfall, where we will descend again in order to arrive on the dot base of it and enjoy a beautiful natural landscape that makes it very special. The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge is considered one of the richest sites in the continent for the observation of birds. Beside an abundance of birds, Caño Negro is also refuge of many other animals like: sloth’s, three types of monkeys, caimans, lizards, bats, and a variety of native flora of the wet land.
Our tour to this beautiful region, leaves from La Fortuna, driving for about an hour and a half until Los Chiles, which is a rustic town that meets to only five kilometers of the border of Nicaragua, it is here where we take the boat down to Río Frío for about three hours.
